We are so happy to inform you about our pre-natal program to help you prepare your pelvic floor and body for birth and postpartum recovery.

In this program you will learn,

  • Anatomy and function of the pelvic floor and core
  • How to relax your pelvic floor
  • How to activate your pelvic floor during and after pregnancy
  • How to strengthen your abs safely during pregnancy and what to do post partum to optimize recovery of diastasis recti
  • How to do proper perineal stretching and pain education for labour
  • What exercises are safe early postpartum

Our Physiotherapist Madelaine as been serving the pre-natal community since 2014 and brings not only a wealth of knowledge but years of experience.

We begin with a 60 minute assessment and typically 1-3 follows up, depending on your goals, ability to perform exercises and whether or not we need to treat pregnancy related back or pelvic pain.
